 The Role:  

 This position will be responsible for executing design concepts that adhere to corporate standards, meeting deadlines, and maintaining existing corporate standards. Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Revenue, you will be expected to work with the existing team of Marketing Coordinators and Designers, as well as field personnel to ensure that all deadlines and objectives are successfully carried out. You must be extremely organized with excellent design skills, in-depth knowledge of typography, and a thorough understanding of online and traditional marketing processes. You absorb information quickly and are able to turn that information into action. You are a self starter who is equally at ease working independently or in a group. You possess excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment.

 Applicable Skills:

 Candidates must possess:

  • Diploma or degree from an accredited design program or equivalent experience
  • Above average proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
  • Excellent familiarity with MAC OS, MS Office
  • Proficiency with HTML, CMS tools, web design, theory, and practice
  • Exemplary organization and communication skills, both written and oral
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to set priorities for self
  • Excellent design and typography skills
  • Complete and thorough understanding of the printing process
  • Self-starter, strong team player with a desire to grow with the company

 Additional consideration will be given to those that possess:

  • Fluency in both spoken and written French
  • Understanding of online marketing and social media an asset
  • Signage and wayfinding experience
  • Experience with marketing and branding strategies and practices
  • Experience in the tourism industry and hospitality background an asset

 Preference will be given to creative, flexible candidates with a hunger to learn and grow within one of the fastest growing hospitality companies in the country.
